So, I totally get the intrigue of the Choctaw vampire hunters, but didn’t they actually screw the pooch on this one? Seems like a lot less people would have died if that one guy hadn’t got away.
Stop idolizing Republicans. They don’t have better messaging; they own all the megaphones. Messaging doesn’t matter when the press won’t cover hundreds of thousands of protesters in the streets.
What’s the upside of doing that for the developer? You want a quote for a story, I get that. What’s the other part of that deal? I write about the humanity of game development all the time, but if that’s not the quote you’re looking for, why would you care?
I am once again going to point out that “87% of game developers are using AI” is both false and propaganda. Why are you spreading this bullshit?

This hits a deep truth about game development. There is a vast difference between wanting to have made a game and wanting to make games. There are many, many people who mistake the former for the latter and find out the hard way.
There are going to be protests today in DC, LA, and various other places. The lack of coverage should infuriate you. The media is trying to erase these people and their actions. But reality always wins in the end.

AAA games have to satisfy the "cutting edge technology" crowd and the "better than movies" crowd. But you get savaged if you don't have 100's of hours of polished gameplay. Was very interesting that AC:Mirage clocked in at 30 rather than the usual 100. Shadows was closer to the average.

Hundreds of thousands of people protested this weekend in over a dozen major cities, and I have not seen one mention in mainstream media. I don’t know how we fight this. DC marched against its occupation and all anyone covered was the restaurant quote.

What’s the etiquette on quote posting multiple things from a thread? If you quote every post, that’s my whole feed for a while. Isn’t the nature of threads that the opening is an invitation? I can see hitting one or two high points, but if you quote post 10 times, I’m blocking you.
Quick reminder - when you share propaganda headlines, even to mock them, you are spreading propaganda.

The war of AI slop has already begun. Malicious actors are seeding all kinds of things for LLMs to scrape.
Any politician who uses discredited conspiracy theories to raise public support needs to be hounded out of the public square mercilessly. If the basis of your support is that you repeat lies, you have no business governing.
Take with appropriate amounts of salt - internet wisdom suggests standard pecha kucha timing is 20 seconds per slide - brisk but not breakneck. At 18 slides * 20 seconds, you're at 360 seconds, or 6 minutes. You can talk 20% faster, or cut ~16% slides, or keep some slides under 20s. You got this.
Oh, I get it. We mapped real spaces at Magic Leap and made interactions like this available. The only thing that's impressive about the tech is how they're doing it, and that's because LLM's are a terrible way to approach this problem set.
AI has been in game monetization and UA for years. This is just another startup.

Seems unlikely. Games are driven by logic. LLM's can't process causal chains. Of all the things Gen AI may be able to make some day, gameplay seems like one of the least applicable use cases.
