Hello from day 279 of our daily protests on Rustaveli Avenue in Tbilisi, Georgia. Today, activists are blocking the city in at least three locations. ~26 activists have been arrested today. Earlier in the day, eight people got unjustly sentenced to years in prison.
There are ENDLESS problems with the original video, not least the implication that processing asylum seeker claims is a one-time issue and that there will come a time when hotels will be completely empty of any applicants awaiting decisions. But that in turn suggests a zero-acceptance policy.

I turn on my TV and a TV presenter is asking a Govt minister why they are talking about rolling out free childcare when the big issue is asylum hotels. This is objectively insane.
