when we finally got home the sunset had finally faded. when we introduced Blossom to her 2 new friends she was so so happy and they’re obsessed with her hehe :3 i feel my grief ease knowing that their spirits are okay, and now im determined to give these ducks the best and safest life possible <3
as we started heading there this pink sunset began. in my heart i feel like it was a sign of peace, gratitude, and a sign that our pets had made it to the other side safely. as we received our new ducks, i was still feeling guilty and unsure but when i looked up at the sky,the sunset had intensified
bad timing per usual, but yesterday was also the day we planned to get 2 new ducks for our flock. i was ready to cancel our plans since we were still grieving and it felt too soon, but seeing how lonely Blossom was, i just couldn’t say shake the feeling that we needed to go for her
after an emotional day, i’m so grateful for this sunset. i know i might get a few raised eyebrow reactions, but to me this sunset felt like a sign they passed over to the other side safely and they were thanking us for their time with us

i literally jumped into the river with my clothes on, i lost a shoe and scraped my leg, and i was crying a lot so she kept getting scared and swimming away BUT I DID IT and she’s okay!
incredibly bizarre; i was looking for a burial place next to the river for the only duck we found, the river had a random duck, i started saying „aww hi baby“ through crying. the duck started coming to me. it came closer and it was MY DUCK BLOSSOM. SHE SURVIVED THE FOX ATTACK

growing up (for me) means trying to be only influenced by my inner child instead of what others. it’s great because i can relearn loving life and myself, but bad because i see these stupid toys and i have a inner conflict about buying it
