I only bought Guehi because he was moving to Liverpool and since I've had him he's gotten me 28pts in 3 GWs. Don't get me wrong that's incredible skill on my part - But others probably did the same thing and have been incredibly lucky.

Don't let it get you down mate. I had a season like that last year. If you play to come top then it can blow up in your face, but what's the point in playing and aiming for a 'good rank'. Just try to be patient with your picks and remember there's only so much you can control.

Yeah I very nearly did that this week cuz I had Palmer & Saka, but fortunately (it appears so far) I just got rid of one and started KDH. Midfield looks pretty bereft of good mid-priced players atm so it's definitely viable.
*he's on 9 defcon atm actually, I've definitely jinxed this! 😂 All will be revealed, but I think in terms of being able to predict outcomes it's a relatively easy one to predict because he's been so consistently hitting the numbers.
I've got all 3, but benching KDH generally (not this week thankfully!). Ceilings are all good if you rotate players and nail it, but if you can basically guarantee someone is gonna shit you points every week and you never have to transfer them out then I don't see the value in passing that up mate
He's going to get those 4pts as a floor in most games is the thing. He only missed out on defcon by 1 in the first two games where Forest controlled possession, but that's rare. He's just hit it with half an hour of the game left, the guy's relentless.
How come? Realise it's not exciting, but he's going to get 170+ pts and lets you do exciting with the rest of your team.
If you don't own Elliot Anderson, then just buy him. No point trying to fight it, just put him in your team for the season and worry about the other 10 men or else you're not doing well this season.
