The only one I can think of is Martinelli. I still hope he'll turn into the player we all thought he would, but I'm really not confident about that. If a club came in with 60/70 million, we would have had to accept. I'd be interested to find out if any clubs showed interest over the Summer in him

Great work 👏

When Neville came back from Valencia he wasn't as obnoxious due to him knowing this managerial game isn't as easy as he maybe thought. But he's now forgotten he was there. Why do people take Phil Neville's brothers opinion seriously?
fplhelp.bsky.social (@fplhelp.bsky.social) reply parent
He has to be thinking will I just take the players off the pitch.

That's not true either. I'm old enough to remember the furore around Bergkamp's first few games

Hi there Eric. Was at the event tonight and this did not happen. I agree WWE is full of pricks and AEW is okish, but making up shit like this for likes is wrong and what make the wankers wankers. Have a good night

Peiss Pelson. Seen him on loan at Fulham and looked decent before a bad injury

How can they "see" a foul or whatever it was there, but not see Senesi spike the ball the other night. VAR is embarrassing considering what it could be

You think he is still young until you remember he played against Reading in the 2012/2013 league cup. He played alongside Arshavin, Djourou, Chamakh that night. Ian Harte was on the bench for Reading.

fplhelp.bsky.social (@fplhelp.bsky.social) reply parent
With that in mind, would you take a 150 million Isak over a Norgaard, Madueke and Gyokeres? It improves our first 11 immeasurably but, that's not where our issues where last season. Starting to think the club can't win with fans like me and others 😂
fplhelp.bsky.social (@fplhelp.bsky.social) reply parent
I do wonder who was the first choice though. I think Liverpool showed with Alisson and Van Dijk, sometimes you have to overpay for your first choice
fplhelp.bsky.social (@fplhelp.bsky.social) reply parent
It could be. I just detest these "updates" from Romano. A dozen or so posts all saying the same thing.
fplhelp.bsky.social (@fplhelp.bsky.social) reply parent
Between Romano's hourly updates and Gyokeres behavior, I would love to see the Arsenal go back in for Sesko. I know all will be forgotten after a Gyokeres hat trick at Old Trafford but right now it doesn't feel right
fplhelp.bsky.social (@fplhelp.bsky.social) reply parent
If Sporting are being difficult, could we go back in and pay Leipzig what they wanted for Sesko? If we're talking 10 million in the difference I'd take Sesko every day of the week.

I've never seen him as a level above Reiss Nelson. He's in that bracket. A Fulham player if ever there was one
fplhelp.bsky.social (@fplhelp.bsky.social) reply parent
They both dealt with them differently to this situation. Neither covered themselves in glory in my opinion but the names of both players was in the public domain and once it was the clubs swiftly took action. However, while Parteys name wasn't "publicly" out, we all knew. Since day 1
fplhelp.bsky.social (@fplhelp.bsky.social) reply parent
I don't think we can distance ourselves from this player now. That should have happened three years ago. Now it's a stain on the club forever
fplhelp.bsky.social (@fplhelp.bsky.social) reply parent
You can still buy the jersey with his name on back for the bargain price of £153. Fuck off Arsenal at this point
fplhelp.bsky.social (@fplhelp.bsky.social) reply parent
I hope questions are asked in pre season about this. But I just don't know what good it will do. The club have lost a lot of trust now. If this was another club we would think so much less of them, think of Chelsea for instance. Arsenal will now be seen as the same level as them.

Odd shout but Santi Cazorla was as good as Ozil, Alexis etc but whenever people talk about the great players Arsenal had later under Wenger he's never mentioned. As well, he was an absolute joy to watch and his FA Cup final free kick rescued us from peak misery.

fplhelp.bsky.social (@fplhelp.bsky.social) reply parent
Ah you can go club by club but I think only Liverpool, Newcastle and Forest fans would argue it's been anything but drab. Maybe Palace after yesterday...and Arsenal depending on how they get on against PSG!
fplhelp.bsky.social (@fplhelp.bsky.social) reply parent
Did you miss the part about the relegation battle? Theres been three teams in the league this season that have added nothing. This means 30% of the games each week (most weeks) have been basically over before they began. Plus there's no jeopardy for West Ham, Man Utd, Spurs who have been woeful
fplhelp.bsky.social (@fplhelp.bsky.social) reply parent
People are looking at this from a club perspective. Take a step back and look at it as a neutral. What would you have enjoyed as a pure neutral? Sky would have you believe the race for top 5 is the hottest thing in European football, but it's not
fplhelp.bsky.social (@fplhelp.bsky.social) reply parent
It's been a drab season, I don't get the fight against this. It's not a sleight against Liverpool obviously. The two things that make for an entertaining season as a whole are a title race (involving a dark horse for bonus points) and a relegation battle. This season has offered neither.

fplhelp.bsky.social (@fplhelp.bsky.social) reply parent
I know we have been badly hit but every club has suffered except the one at the top it seems. Rodri and now Haaland at City, Spurs two centre backs, Man United have had numerous injuries although I would question the appetite of some of those to play football. There is too much football played
fplhelp.bsky.social (@fplhelp.bsky.social) reply parent
Stay at Bournemouth and keep doing the same job and he could have his pick of big jobs. Personally I would hate for him to go to Spurs, Utd or Chelsea. Pochettino is arguably Spurs best manager since the inception of the PL and he won nothing. Chelsea and United haven't had a good manager in 10 yrs
