Misleading, for sure. Their website mentions the different months that Canadian-grown onions are available. But they ship all year round so US product is used other times. Until our federal govt enforces new labelling rules, we all need to check the individual product labels... like you did!

This headline is misleading - Crown Royal is still produced in Canada; they have bottling plants and distilleries in Manitoba and Quebec.
Folks jumped the gun on this. Yes, some bottling plant jobs were lost in Canada but the product is still 100% Canadian made and bottling for the Canadian market will be in Quebec. The folks in Gimli, Manitoba don’t need this drama. #cdnpoli
