Negative growth for fossil fuels will mark the beginning of the end of the time when we mind these fuels and lit them on fire for energy. Seeing negative fossil fuel growth will be the turning point where we begin to draw down our pollution from its historically high levels
Fraser Valley Climate Action πΏππ‘ (@fvca.bsky.social) reply parent
The casual observer should not be loaded into complacency because pollution from fossil fuels remains high and continuous to grow. But renewables are growing faster and hopefully soon weβll see negative gross for fossil fuels.
Fraser Valley Climate Action πΏππ‘ (@fvca.bsky.social) reply parent
Seeing how renewables are growing fast faster than fossil fuel fuels. Is encouraging. Even if fossil fuels are still growing. And that means increasing pollution. Significant amounts of. Pollution are. Being permanently avoided. As renewables continue to grow.
