Maybe. AI is a great enabler but not always a replacer. At the moment this will take great investment. We are still in the learning phase on deployment. And being human this will take some time. AI cannot yet deploy itself. But that is another debate.
And they will work elsewhere because the retail traffic stays. Short term pain shifting. But if their jobs are shitty and they rely on govt subsidising their employer to get by then it is unstable and they will move when something better appears - as the retention figures show.

I want to hear first about what kind of a country people want to build rather than how much tax they want to pay. Without consensus on the first the latter is not a meaningful question. Also we then find that many of the wealthy don’t really have any vision outside their own selfishness.
