Nope 'cos I'm 65 my ticket from Brussels Airport to Bruges was 15 euros and was a same day return (if I wanted to use it). It's a 90 minute train journey.

Yes exactly. We flew from T5 @ Heathrow to Brussles. Both airports were shite IMO. I prefer the smaller regional places or train travel. If we lived further east I would take the train every single time. Also train travel from here is so expensive๐ซ

No we're not anymore. Tbh I really hate the whole airport experience. Long gone are the days when I could sit on a plane for 10-12 hours. Also the whole set up at airports is just blurgh!!!
I'm not a seaside resort fan (too bloody old). Old, historic cities are my favourite thing. Thankfully Europe is chocca with them.
We managed Krakow a few years back over Christmas. Really enjoyed it. We've been lucky in that we've managed to get to quite a few places but the list just grows and grows. Wrocลaw is also a great place and less touristy than Krakow.
It's really lovely but really busy. Budapest is also lovely. I haven't been to Rome. Is your list getting longer instead of shorter? Mine is!!

The temperature was perfect for us. 18-20c, a bit windy though. We loved it there. Yes that is your hotel. We were drinking in T'Kleine Venetie.

Yes that's how we get our dog fix. Salisbury to Liverpool ๐คis definitely a long stretch. He's a funny character, hates people, grumpy, smelly but needs constant attention. He just loves babies & toddlers. He's always by them, looking at them, following them. He alerts our daughter if 1 of them cries
