I live in a red county in NY and I don’t think I’ve ever known about a Dem event before it happened. I usually don’t know anything about someone having an event until they show thank you pictures of the 6 people that showed up. Their reach and social media presence sucks.
It’s an election held outside of our normal Nov elections every 2 years. Usually held because a seat is vacated during a term instead of at the end of a term.

He doesn’t have the capacity and very few have the balls to set him straight. He can believe anything he wants to because he gets what he wants.
Having different viewpoints doesn’t make us divided. We have to be different in order to learn from each other.
But throwing your hands up and saying that the party will never help us just strips us of our power to hire people who will. We have to believe that we can hire leaders to help us. That’s why people vote and participate. Putting it all on us to fix it just means that politicians have no purpose.
Democrats need to get their heads out of rich guys’ asses and realize that most people don’t feel like it’s always about the economy. Even people who struggle financially would rather fight for their rights to marry who they choose and pay an extra dollar for eggs.

Also, what’s the point of donating money and time for elections if we are going to have the attitude that they aren’t there to save us? That’s their damn job and people promoting the no one is going to save us theory are why people have been refraining from getting involved.
More people would participate in a protest led by the people we pay, rather than always having to lead ourselves. It’s the point that we get scolded for not taking the lead in situations where we have hired leaders.

This is my stupid assed gerrymandered district, it avoids 3 of the biggest cities in the state. This should be split into at least 5 districts just because of geography. If they got smart and included Syracuse, Rochester, and Buffalo into the redistricting then there would easily be more Dem seats.
