I’d describe it as similar to sweet potato but a little earthier and a little more vanilla in flavor. A lot of products are artificially flavored with ube so I’d recommend getting either powdered ube or jam with the real veggie in it

If you’d like a swirl in the future, it doesn’t come from cinnamon alone, it comes from a mixture of brown sugar, butter, and cinnamon that you spread on rolled out dough and then roll up so it swirls. If you just used gobs of cinnamon it’d be really bitter.
Thank you Andy, yes it has cocoa butter, still part of the cocoa pod. The chips don’t have any cocoa butter in them, they’re essentially a poor imitation
There isn’t anything wrong or dangerous about creme morsels, it’s more of a flavor/texture preference for me. I should note also that real white chocolate costs a LOT more, as cocoa butter is a much pricier ingredient than palm oil or vegetable oil.
Have you even really had white chocolate??? A lot of white chocolate we see in cheaper baked goods doesn’t actually have any cocoa butter in it, only milk solids & oil. Be sure to look at the label or ask if this is important to you! The difference in taste is very noticeable. #chocolate #baking

I passed my ServSafe Food Protection Manager exam! Also my cookies will now be prepared in a commercial kitchen! Having worked in public health for 15 years, it was important to me to switch ASAP to making my cookies in a licensed facility, though it’s not required for a cottage food biz in MD
