The Nationalists cry about even the smallest of problems, whilst the economy is tanking hard and people lose their rights. Somehow I'm not going to be surprised if Poland or even my own country are more developed than the UK in 20 years if the trend continues.
In short: Brexit was a mistake But setting that aside, I'm sorry to hear what you're going through. Given that I live in a country, where homophobia is not only present but normalised, I can understand your wish to move out. Stay safe, and hope you feel better.

Agreed. Relationships in writing should be handled with as much diligence as any other aspect of the character dynamics. If you want to make a relationship work, you at least need to establish a reason why these two are into each other and make it believable enough for the audience to like it.

Which literary trope do you guys dislike the most? The closest to that for me would be fridging, which is the idea that you can kill off a character for the sole reason of motivating the protagonist, thus disregarding their own goals, ambitions and potential development.
I'd like to make my own website at some point, sharing my short stories, photos from my travels across the World and general commentary on books and media. There's nothing bad about having your own virtual page :)
I think I've mentioned it before, but the modern internet is like that. Individualized websites are a rarity nowadays, especially those which were made from scratch.
Can relate, given that my friends groups have been mixed gender-wise.
Personal writing advice: Be persistent, to be a writer means to learn how to improve your skills in the field, there's nothing wrong with failing once in a while. What matters is learning where and why, so as to apply it to your future stories and make them work even better.

Personal writing advice: Give your characters challenges to overcome and focus on making them learn through their mistakes. Developing a character means putting them through trials and even in some cases a darkest hour, which is helpful in fleshing them out.
I'd say I have read a lot of doujins throughout the years, mostly leaning into the more serious aspects of the series. I will say, however, that Foul Detective Satori has interesting concepts and dialogue, even if post-Mizuchi feels too much of a tonal change in what is the equivalent of a moment.
Well, at least it's better than whatever Twitter is right now. I agree though that some should be more active but given that people are getting older it's logical that they have less time to spend on such stuff.

Personal writing advice: When working with someone doing a visual medium or are an artist who wants to do the writing themselves, an important tool is to show and not tell certain events. Try using subtle narrative and visual cues to lend to the readers in order to describe certain events or ideas.

Personal writing advice: Think of a way to make the story feel consistent - write down a timeline of events (or even multiple timelines if you're into that sorta thing), so that they do not contradict themselves and cause both logical and narrative inconsistencies later down the line.

Depends, X2 is good but I've seen some say it doesn't hold up as well as X1. Zero 2 is miles better than Zero 1 gameplay-wise, likewise for ZXA (arguably so). As for MM2, it's that game people would say is the best, although I'd argue others in the Classic series are better.
