A beatdown in broad daylight was caught on video: Masked men in tactical vests grappled, tased, and piled onto a delivery worker. Pinning the worker face down on the pavement, agents tased him again and punched him repeatedly in the head.

Questions for Teachers For those of you who teach social studies... are you planning to change anything in your lessons about the constitution? The bill of rights? The Supreme Court? Checks and balances? Coequal branches? Church and state? I am genuinely curious.

My kids are grown too. No grandchildren either. But there are teenagers in high schools and older ones in colleges. They will discuss government based on a foundation of what they've learned in earlier ed. These people will be voting for what's next.
Kids will go back to school in a cpl of months. What will we tell our kids about the constitution, coequal branches, checks and balances? If we keep teaching it the same way we have been, we're lying.

Why is nobody pressing the police chief, mayor, and governor to hold LAPD members accountable for beating, shoving to the ground, trampling within horses, and shooting citizens without a care for their well-being? Their silence makes them complicit.

We keep seeing stuff like this from LAPD and other police departments. People trampled and beaten from mounted officers, push to the ground, shot for nothing g worse than trying to walk home. Where are the mayors, governors and even the police chiefs? Haven't heard anything from them.
