That is a double standard, but doesn't fall under the rubric of what people usually consider "illegitimate" criticism. It's just baked into the system. It's just an unconscious bias. I'm describing those things for you.

A lot of it has to do with who you're pissing off. If you are making a group of corporate poluters angry, for instance, that's pretty good. If the group that you are pissing off is, say, the majority of Jews, that might be something you want to take a look at.
