There are quite a few introduced weeds we struggle with, in the national parks and beaches they send in a mob of people often with heavy equipment, on properties I think the owners have to deal with it, they do get assistance, I don’t see any in towns anymore.
No thorns on our variety, I did look it up as I could not remember thorns on any I encountered. We have plenty of thorny things. Wait awhile is vicious in the jungle. Creeping Lantana (Lantana montevidensis) occurs in coastal and subcoastal Queensland and New South Wales, no thorns. Weeds Australia
Not spiky just thick, there are plenty of pointy bits from bits that have died off or been broken off, if you are on a bike on a narrow track it’s like being whipped. There are large bits of bush where the canopy has been cleared where it fills all available spaces and cover many kilometres.
It’s certainly difficult to navigate through, resorting to crawling under infestations for significant distances, down with the red back spiders.

I played with a photo recolonised with AI thing. I did recolour my great grandmothers picture, I kept having to give prompts to stop it altering anything, it took hours and I had to keep checking her face with the black and white picture to make sure it wasn’t altered. Roma #ancestry

What is it like to darden while watching over four whippets, I have to lay down to garden properly, spinal nerve damage, I love being close to the tiny things that inhabit the soil. It is tricky dragging myself around with whippets laying on me though. #whippets #dogs #gardening

I’m not sure which pictures of the place to trust but it looks not well thought out, where does the sewerage go, where is the drinking water storage , food prep, washing, laundry and medical sites, how high is the slab/floor above the water table. Exercise areas Mosquito protection screens or nets?

I have no idea why I decided to photograph this, I sort of like it though.
Wouldn’t be nice if belonging to a political party wasn’t so tribal, acknowledging good ideas from either side instead a blinkered self imposed adherence to a party line. Perhaps some respect for someone who has different view in debate. We are watching the illogical conclusion to tribalism.
