This country is going to become a very, very difficult place to live in, in no time. I still don't think mass exodus a likely scenario, but in the current context, you just can't rule anything out.

And yet, it's still very much a question whether Trump's approval rating will fall much below its current 38-40% levels, to say nothing of the opposition's actual electoral prospects. Remember, folks, 46% (McCain, 2008) is the GOP's electoral basement this century.
At this point, one has to consider the possibility, not just that the Democratic Party is out of touch with its supporters, but that it is, for all practical purposes, *dead* as an agenda-setting force in American politics - even if it lumbers on for a bit as a formal electoral vehicle.

Trouvez-vous la plateforme de DSA particulièrement radicale? Ce qu’ils veulent, c’est un service public qui garantisse les acquis sociaux et l’égalité des citoyens à peu près à la manière d’un état européen. Par ailleurs, quelle influence réelle DSA a-t’elle dans le système US?
Le problème, c’est que le PS n’est pas un grand parti populaire, pas plus d’ailleurs que les autres, à l’exception possible du RN. Par ailleurs, la solidarité de classe des élites polit.-média, y compris de gauche, reste très forte - et celles-ci laissent l’extr-droite dicter les termes du débat.
