I have close friends along the political spectrum and have voted that way, too. We have a choice between PM Carney or a PM Poilievre and the latter is dangerous for Canada. I’ll always ask PM Carney to do better if needed but won’t take cheap shots. Diminishing this as ‘partisan’ is unfair.

I listened to E Jean Carroll’s audio book (recommended to me - specifically the audio book version). I also recommend it. Hearing E. Jean’s voice telling her story, is engaging & powerful. Pausing the EV mandate for a year makes sense, I think. Most of the EVs getting built weren't even for sale in Canada, and the penalties for not selling enough EVs would have ended up mostly going to Tesla, which is obviously unacceptable. Hardly worth losing ones composure over.
