This post was about shitting on Harris as a candidate. Dem governors and all the other issues you mention are irrelevant to Harris v. Trump. We’ll all be long dead before there is a presidential candidate who meets your criteria of worthiness of being bestowed with your vote.

Tell me how trans people are better off under Trump than Harris. I think they are worse off. I care about trans’ rights and all civil rights. Many issues were on the ballot any anyone who didn’t support Harris threw us all under the bus.
Klex A. Peaton (@hunterz7.bsky.social) reply parent
The US electorate is not as progressive as I wish it was. But if we can’t unite behind the first black/asian woman who has a good moderate record, we will continue to loose rights as Republicans take them away.
Klex A. Peaton (@hunterz7.bsky.social) reply parent
And Trump has kicked all trans people of of every single military and security position for cause. They will loose all benefits. Anyone who sincerely cared for all civil rights voted for Harris.
Klex A. Peaton (@hunterz7.bsky.social) reply parent
I fully support trans’ rights. And the only party that has ever secured any civil rights for anyone is the Dem party. They are far from perfect. But it achieves nothing to continue to dump on the 1st black/asian woman who nearly became president. Harris would have moved LGBTQ+ rights forward.
Klex A. Peaton (@hunterz7.bsky.social) reply parent

Klex A. Peaton (@hunterz7.bsky.social) reply parent
Trans’ rights weren’t the only issue the ballot. Trans people are losing many, many more rights because of Trump’s election. A whole generation of rights have been lost as a result of Harris’ loss. Harris would have been a good president, not perfect, but good in comparison to all the others.

Is "the party" in the room with you right now? The election was a binary choice: Trump or Harris. I accept responsibility for the flaws and terrible actions of the Biden/Harris admin. But they did much more good than Trump has. I don't think nihilism means what you think it does.
Klex A. Peaton (@hunterz7.bsky.social) reply parent
Your misogyny is showing when you blame Harris for the actions of Israel and Biden. And your privilege is also showing when you don't care whether Trump or Harris is president. The situation in Gaza has only gotten worse under Trump, that's on those who didn't help elect Harris.
Klex A. Peaton (@hunterz7.bsky.social) reply parent
You are projecting. A large portion of Harris' support came from people that support Palestine and oppose Israel. Only be electing her could she have been pushed to make meaningful change for Gazans. A nihilist is the one who thinks Harris is as bad as Trump, or that nothing matters.
Klex A. Peaton (@hunterz7.bsky.social) reply parent

Gaza wasn't the only issue on the ballot. Everyone who refused to vote for Harris is responsible for the loss of 60 years of civil rights. We will never forget who is responsible. I accept responsibility for the negative actions Biden/Harris took. But that was the best outcome.
Klex A. Peaton (@hunterz7.bsky.social) reply parent
I blame Biden and Harris for their terrible actions while in office and for their support of Israel. But to think that things couldn't be worse in Gaza under a Trump administration is an ignorant position to hold. And Gaza wasn't the only important issue on the ballot. Trump is doing more harm.
