I got a new fancy raincoat this week.just in time for the weather. I am delighted with myself.

Substack discourse again so I am moved to reiterate: getting off Substack is one of THE most straightforward and effective ways to get fascist stink off your work. If you choose not to do it because it seems too hard, then I do not trust you to do literally anything in the face of fascism.
When you money off Substack, they take a % of your take, and they use that % to profit transphobes, nazis, and their investors, who then use that profit to further their own interests. But for once, you ACTUALLY have the power to opt out of a portion of the ecosystem that is destroying us.

Holiday book #1: Finally read Long Live Evil, which is a wicked grin of a book. A deeply meta portal fantasy, which takes huge pleasure in its tonal shifts, and dares you to go with it. I cackled with glee along with it.
