i find this image so fascinating. it is both a literal example of authoritarianism but also a second-hand reproduction of the aesthetics of other authoritarian states. it's like a simulacra of authoritarianism whose purpose is to attempt to make the simulacra real.

Now, let's see how long it will take for Trump/ Miller/ Hegseth/ Bondi to say how Trump made D.C. "safer" today by arresting this veteran for a peaceful protest. Just as they tout the 1000+ arrests after the Trump takeover of D.C. which are mostly "crimes" that such as disorderly conduct.
X is wasteland. Hatred has exponentially increased as MAGA took over. Not worth engaging. In fact, it's obvious I've been shadow banned & my tweets don't reach as far & they control my number of followers. But it remains useful vehicle for news & I routinely hear from media following my tweets.
