I'm a Guy whose contribution to the Guy Economy is helping run chess tournaments, should you ever wish to be someone who runs a chess tournament.
The World Snooker Championship record of Luca Brecel is similarly bizarre. In eight appearances in the tournament, he's won just seven matches... but five of those were in the 2023 event, meaning his name is on the trophy.

It's the first time a trans woman wins the French Chess Championship, and the second time in history that a trans woman wins a national title, after Annemarie Meier who became Women's German Champion in 2003! I hope my victory inspires young trans chess fan to keep playing while they transition.
