Yeah, it's hard not to shake the feeling that a lot of the people deep into this stuff aren't so much fearing the apocalypse as they want to guarantee their deaths coincide with the end of the world

Re: banning phones in schools, my mom did it for her class and her grades went up and her workload dropped because she didn't have so many students needing to re-learn basic concepts, so I'll never understand how anybody could push for the opposite
