Most African Americans have been in the US longer than most white Americans of european descent. And of course there were always Native Americans here and many of the founding texts were influenced by their presence. The US has never been a white country.
I say this over and over. Western Hegemony is 500 years old. People thinking this is the end all and be all when for the majority of history we were fine without their foot up our ass.
