On the water in front go Chief Justice John Roberts summer home on Upper Island. There were about 25 people in 17 boats ranging from paddle boards, kayaks, canoes, row boats and one motorized Zodiac. On the dock was several dozen people with signs. Thanks to Audacity CAT for pulling this together.

At the command of the president, red states are sending armed troops to occupy a blue city based on a manufactured crisis, over the objections of that city's leadership and 80 percent of its residents. If this isn't authoritarianism, I'm not sure what is.
Temporary? Portland Maine Mayor Mark Dion said the city did NOT capitulate to federal immigration authorities when it accepted a grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation. Said Portland is shielded from the immigration enforcement requirements by a preliminary injunction issued in June.
