True...and I have to say as much as I love the visuals of Villeneuve's Dune, those nuances were all but gone. Dune is above all, unapologetically hyper detailed with WEIRD. Alia, for example. I feel like Denis glossed over most of it to be more palatable for the crowd, but there lost Dune.
