Yeah, it’s because that canal isn’t well maintained and suffers a lot of vandalism, so lots of the lock gates don’t hold the water. You can see which ones. We’ve got pretty good water levels here atm but the canal is closed until the reservoirs fill up again.

It wasn’t a direct response to him, but after months of silence while we’ve been going through hell in the wake of the SC ruling and the government about to shut us out of society, it was obvious what prompted it, and confirmed what many have suspected.
My neck is on the block. I’d rather have nothing from anyone than accept hope & platitudes from someone who’s just going to look away when it really matters. And I won’t let that sort off the hook because they said nice things in the past. The emergency is now, and we’ve been ignored by YourParty.
For me, whatever platitudes she offers now are worthless. She’s looked the other way for months while our necks have been on the block with Phillipson sharpening an axe. She only spoke out when Hussain spoiled the YourParty image, after months of nothing when we needed something from someone.
Her response to Hussain’s transphobic post the other day confirmed there’d been an agreement not to talk about trans people in our hour of need, and however reluctant she may have been, she went along with it until Hussain broke the deal. Through everything since the SC ruling, she went with it.
He’s told me all I need to know. He’s told anyone looking to YourParty out of hope for social justice all they need to know.
I agree he's totally complicit. Everything he claims YourParty stands for is bullshit. A conscious decision was made to not mention a demographic currently being stripped of human rights by the UK government. He agreed to it. No question. Then he shares a platform with Hussain. Corbyn is a fraud.
