I don't think this is universally true. For many, sure. But I don't consider myself a Satanist to antagonize anyone. I view it as atheism in tandem with a very specific philosophy that denounces dogma, tyranny, arbitrary rules, inequality, etc. etc. I don't think atheism alone covers my beliefs.

Yeah, I'd love it if the next album had a couple tunes more in the Cirice style. I like glamrock Ghost but I'm starting to really miss the darker somewhat industrial sound. I do enjoy when their songs just flirt with the 80s hairmetal sound (Spillways) but not so much when it's full blown(Missilia)
Overall, I think it's a good album. I like more songs than I don't. The ones I don't like, I *really* don't like, which is a first for me with Ghost. But the singles alone are worth the purchase and I did enjoy other tracks as well. #GuidingLights #Cenotaph
I mean, it can't be denied that their sound has undergone a huge departure from the first albums. It's not wild or unfair that fans who got hooked because of Secular Haze or Year Zero might not be feeling Missilia. It's silly to be up in arms about it in either direction. Hope you are unscathed lol
I do like all the singles. I think Guiding Lights and Cenotaph are my favs of the rest of them. Everyone seems to have at least one song they really enjoy, so that's good 😁
I think a lot of the songs have the ability to grow on me. A few more listens will tell. It's easy to fall into a trap of having a couple favorite songs from a band and getting your hopes up a new album will be 10 Square Hammers or Witch Images in a row, but that's just setting yourself up ya know?

Guiding lights was the one that stood out / spoke to me. The singles are bops, Guiding Lights and Cenotaph put me in my feels and the rest... I'll give em time to grow on me. I doubt I'll ever like Missilia lol

I think you'd be surprised. I'm seeing lots of ppl post their disappointments. When a band has such a huge shift in sound, it's inevitable some fans are feeling left out in the cold. So far, most ppl are being really cool with how others receive it, love or hate. I can appreciate both camps♥️
