PS: Saw this because I was fascinated by Alex Ross Perry’s work after seeing “Pavements.” While one is a drama (“Her Small”) and the other a (pseudo?) documentary (“Pavements”) both were about 30 minutes too long. It makes me not want to see his other work. Too tedious and “indie” for my tastes.
Saw “Her Smell” (2018) today. Wow, what a crappy film. It’s basically a showcase from Elisabeth Moss’s acting (overacting?). Episodic with no plot. At the end you just don’t care about anyone. Reminiscent of John Cassavetes’ “A Woman Under the Influence” but with far less charm, humor and skill. 👎
