Saw it tonight. Rock solid “Meh…” from me. It’s not bad at all but not memorable either. If you are into Pavement, it is worth seeing. But if you are not? I don’t know what you’d get out of it. (1/2)

The footage from the fake movie “Range Life” as well as the musical “Slanted! Enchanted!” and the “Pavements: 33-22” fake museum exhibition were cool, but they did not overwhelm the film. Very Warhol like with the use of montage and split screen. Worse ways to waste 2-ish hours. (2/2)

While I initially through the musical “Slanted! Enchanted!” and the fake museum “Pavement: 33-22” were self-indulgent; it makes sense since Alex Ross Perry wanted to film artifacts from the band. Why just spend money to film individual items; why not just have a fake museum setup for a week? (2/2)
