Beautiful day today, my morning walk produced the same heron as yesterday so I rode my bike to a park in a town just south of our home, there's a pond that's fed by the river brenta with geese, ducks and according to the merlin app a eurasian woodpecker which I could not find. #birds #ducks 🪶

They knew 50 years ago... ugh. I think most people are just too busy with their lives or apathetic to care. The journals need to really hit home again and again the immediate consequences for society but seing how we already forgot about the wars 70 years ago i'm not hopeful.
The article is OK. There is not enough information on what will happen as the current weakens. "It's catastrophic" does not wake people up, it's too general. There needs to be more about how and where food supplies are going to collapse, what it means for YOU now and in the next few years. 🤷

Heavy rains yesterday evening and night, I went for my morning walk with little expectations but was pleasantly surprised with the herons, egrets, cormorants and ducks around. Three different herons, had to zoom out to get one guy with the castle in the backround. #birds 🪶 #photography
