3rd film of the night is Clash of the Warlords (I think) from 1984. Already astonishing. Just going to shut up and enjoy this one because wow.

Oh no they made friends with the killer alien and now the film no longer keeps it mysteriously in the shadows and we can see it looks like a rubbish glowing orange dog with ET face
Won't give it credit for spelling, the alien read a page of text on the console which spelled Arctic wrong. Haha this one trivial error makes the film a total disaster! *obnoxious dinging sound*
Will give it some credit for sound design, the scene of a cardboard spaceship being pelted with pebbles is almost sold as an asteroid field simply because the collision effects are satisfyingly rumbly
Big film for those who like computer terminals very slowly printing messages in green text
Watching Star Crystal. Terrid Alien rip-off with 80s soap-style acting. Also the uniforms remind me of series 1 Red Dwarf

Watching Radioactive Dreams, an 80s film by Albert Pyun. First 10 minutes are wild, I can't tell if it's trying to be ultra-stylistic or whether they're trying to salvage something that went very wrong
