I understand and support them in their efforts to get fairer wages and be paid while on the ground. I do hope it's fixed before I have to fly in mid October, though. For their sakes first, and then selfishly for my own. (1st vacation in 11 years)

I was an A & W car hop in 1976. In Edmonton Alberta, winter was really cold then. We had the changemakers in our belt, big coats, and the boss had a gallon jug of hot water for us to put under our coats to warm up. I got lightly hit by a car once too. Good times.

20 years is a good long time for an office chair.
I enjoy various alcoholic drinks, but I have never foisted any on a guest. Open the fridge, list off in order all the beverages: various types of soda (some sugar-free), juices, filtered water, beer, white wine. Red wine, some hard liquor in the cupboard above the microwave and wall oven.

I worked at a place, majority of the factory workers were from India the Phillipines, etc. We had a BBQ potluck. I brought paper plates and napkins because I KNEW there was nothing I could contribute to match what was there. I make pretty good spaghetti sauce but oh my their food was sooooo good

MIL and I had a few glasses of Sheryl, and she decided that Benji needed a trim. Large white dog, terrier beard, poodle fur. All fine till she got to his chest. Went right to the skin, a bare patch on his front chest about 3" long for a bit. And I made her stop so he wasn't all the way groomed.
