We’ve known each other since middle school, we’ve been together for ten years, and yet for the first time I feel everything falling apart.
I’m scared y’all. I’m devastated that I couldn’t make a life for me an my partner in Colorado. I’m less than thrilled that I’m having to move back in with my parents and will be unable to live with my partner for at least a few months. I’m worried our relationship isn’t going to survive this.
The fear of moving back to rural Texas and going back into the closet during a time when our rights are being targeted is starting to really destroy me mentally. I’ve stayed as strong as I can, but today I had a proper meltdown.
Any way my trans fiancée and I are so excited to move back to Texas in order to avoid becoming homeless.
