Well this is nice, if only as a way to get away from the shitstorm next door for a little while.
To be fair George was heavily influenced by the political situation in Europe leading up to and during WWII when he wrote Star Wars. It's not so much that he was prophetic, more that history is frighteningly close to repeating itself.
