Please take a moment to read his Medal of Honor info. He saved so many lives, but 4 Americans were killed in the attack and 16 injured. I spoke to him at length & he doesn’t feel he is a hero, he gives that honor to the men who died that day. Their deaths really affected him, he’s such a good man.

Under the DC Home Rule act, Trump is allowed to federalize DC police during an emergency (which doesn’t exist right now), but only for 48 hours. This can possibly be extended to 30 days with notice to Congress, but it’s also subject to judicial review.
