The President of the United States is screaming at the world.
It occurs to me that the only political figures of the past that MAGA would in any way like are Washington, Jackson, (Davis and Lee) and Reagan.
Politics today is less driven by ideological conviction and more by parties chasing votes based on a distorted picture of public opinion, one filtered through algorithms that amplify emotionally engaging content. This incentivises performance over substance and erodes democratic deliberation.

If you had told me as a kid in the 1980s that in the future you could get on the computer and see hundreds if not thousands of Americans hoping for the death of the President of the USA, I would have said “Yeah, makes sense”.

The whole reason these movies get made is because they’re supposed to be safer bets than mid-budget movies without CGI, if he’s saying the business model can’t support that anymore then the industry should just pack it up.
