The President of the United States is ordering Texas to invade Illinois. That's what's happening. In plain language. Americans need to understand that states are being set against each other on the whim of an authoritarian federal government.

Repubs overturned Roe v Wade because they fought harder and dirtier when it seemed hopeless for them and Dems took the status quo for granted. There are plenty of battles that are losing in the short run but if you fight tooth and nail and rally the base, they can be winning in the long run.

All historians should read this jaw dropping interview as a case study in moral and political decrepitude. Evidence if any more were needed that the accrual of massive amounts of evidence about the past does not automatically engender a critical reflection on the present.

I brought up two daughters and made sure they were protected via settings on the computers and network. It's was my responsibility, so I dealt with it. Forcing adults to prove their ID, storing all sorts of dangerous data insecurely, protects noone, but looks like action. It isn't.

Abrego's legal team compared the 3-year gap between his traffic stop and charges to similar cases in the district. There's nothing like it, reeking of "suspicious timing," they say in a motion to dismiss for vindictive prosecution. Full story @allrisenews.com www.allrisenews.com/p/abrego-vin...

Ed Martin’s latest stunt: pressuring someone he is criminally investigating to resign from public office “as an act of good faith.”

Dear Sir, I imagine you were mortified to read - online and publicly - your recent letter to U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi (April 24, 2025). On page 4, you make admissions about your client Letitia James' conduct that are stunning to me. I am Special Attorney investigating many matters including the criminal referral to which you refer in the Bondi letter. I believe that your admission regarding Letitita James' conduct indicates that she is serious about addressing the problems presented in the referral. After all, her approval of your letter includes the admission although she likely did not expect it to be published. At this time, Letitia James would best serve the Because of your reputation for using the media to argue your points, I prefer that we communicate by letter. I find leaks like your Bondi letter professionally unacceptable and personally insulting. To that end, I specifically ask that you redouble your efforts to not leak this confidential letter. I prefer not to have to move in court to stop you or your client from leaking. Thank you for considering this and alerting your client to this letter. All the best. Eard R. Martin, p. Edward R. Thank you. As a parent, I want to be responsible for my child and don't want a bunch of ninnies carding everyone for her own good. And freedom and anonymity online are way more important than making sure my child doesn't see a tit.

If, like me this UK verification BS is annoying you, a very simple work around is to use the built in VPN service in the Opera browser. Handy when you are visiting the UK. We shouldnt have to do this, but the UK is becoming a surveillance state and we are where we are. They will try to ban VPN's next
