1/ Re-upping this thread. Carney govt is in a position where it has to make program cuts *larger than in 1995* just to keep the budget deficit to about $50B. We can argue about how much LPC at fault for this; what's unarguable is that Canadians have not remotely been prepared for cuts of this size.
