Well, I now have a HOUSE TARANTULA! It’s that time of year for them (mating season) but I never saw one inside before. Tried to catch it by dropping a microfiber cleaning towel on it, but it tossed that aside and ran (fast!) under my guitar amplifier. Not too big, only about 3.5 inches. #AdobeHell

You can now quickly transfer Spotify playlists to Apple Music. I'd already canceled Spotify but it still worked! This was all free, too. FABULOUS. Look for a "Transfer Music" option in Settings. I had to go to music.apple.com to do this, BTW.

GHOSTWAGEN 08/19/2025 We bought this 2007 Vibe in spring of '08. It was her car but I paid it off. Many road trips. 1800 cc Corolla engine w/ 5-speed manual trans, 148k miles and 38 mpg. Has a K&H hi-flow air filter & I drive it like a motorcycle now, 5k RPM in 1st three gears. Smooth like butter.

The north to south storms ride the peaks like they're on a magnetic railway. I only get rain in Ranchos if they're really wide or come from another direction entirely. Most of Questa is closer to the mountains than Ranchos is, too.

If you follow along on radar, you can watch the storm centers shift quickly east a few miles north of here. Happens all the time. This one I photographed was already on its way out of here, though it sure looked like I'd get wet.
