I am still on instagram - I quit but came back just because there’s people I can only contact there. But I hate the company. I’d love if something could better replace those apps. Bluesky is a much better version of twitter but doesn’t really replace all the social media functions of FB+Insta yet.

At least I’m allergic to telling people they should think something is good. Getting the word out that something just exists and letting them decide for themselves is not as bad.
I grew up in the 90s when the counterculture movement told me that commercialism sucks. And I still pretty much feel that way. In my dream scenario people just randomly find my stuff and buy it because everyone honestly likes it.

like writing in general. Just because something is technically correct, if it’s confusing, maybe start over and think of a better situation. This one doesn’t bother me but sometimes I’ll also split a panel into two for clarity if there’s too many separate thoughts in one panel in the script.
The red looks fine to me. Sometimes I’ll do separate balloons if they are really separate thoughts and I wanna imply a beat between them.

Can you tell me what the brush pen is? I like to use a Pilot Fude hard brush pen to ink which looks very similar but it's not waterproof. When I need to draw something that l'm gonna watercolor over I use Faber castell Pitt artist brush pens which are waterproof but wear out fast.
