We used to vacation there in the winter for a week or two, either to Maui or we would take a cruise on an American owned ship out of Fort Lauderdale, but we won’t be going there until the US sorts out their fascism problem, and maybe not then. We spent between $5-10K per vacation.

I live in Ontario, but have visited Alberta many times. It’s a beautiful province and all of us should be proud of it. Their tinfoil hat wearers are loud and organized is all. The majority of Albertans are friendly just like the rest of Canada. I hope Zelenskyy finds some peace while he is there.

Agreed. We have too much US ownership of our media and they tend to exaggerate the mistakes of the left and gloss over the mistakes of the right, with too many citizens who just read the headlines a lot of the time and too many people that don’t use critical thinking.

I remember that, but the Chretien’s also encountered an intruder in their bedroom at 24 Sussex, which from the sounds of it is also not a suitable option at the moment. It would be great if the PM could use Stornoway, but it’s mandated as the official opposition residence.

I love Maui, have experienced driving out of winter and into the warm green of Florida, have San Francisco, the Grand Canyon, Washington and the Smithsonian on my bucket list, so I’m grieving the loss of that too. Am newly retired and now have the time, but not the desire to risk visiting…2/5
