I keep thinking what else could they add? more content sure, but it's all fundamentally more of what they already have. Polish and refine, sure, but there's really not much I can think of them having to CHANGE to make the game better
I know we all got that innate monkey brain instinct that goes "haha silly streamer game, how good could it actually be" when it comes to Peak, but I'm genuinely starting to think it might be a perfectly designed game function, maybe not. But DESIGN? they really thought of everything

The more things I've made, the less I've been interested in publicly criticizing the things that other people make, because once you make a few things you start to understand what a miracle it is that anything gets made at all
I did a lot of crying today, but through it all I am still able to end the day with smiles and laughs and love thanks to those close to me. I love my partner and my friends and found family so much.
I'm preaching to the choir here, but family should have to earn your respect and place in your life just the same as anybody else. They don't get a free pass or more grace just because you happen to be born into the same group of people.

the problem is they believe it IS nice, and that that somehow supercedes how the artist may take it It's less a matter of intent and moreso a matter of respecting a simple request, well meaning or not
some will take it as a compliment, but some will not. And we don't know how many times they might have already heard the comparison. And you can also always ask "is it okay if I say what it reminds me of?" if they don't respond then jsut don't. better safe than sorry
no, you can't control how you feel or what things make you think of, but you CAN control what you do and say
nobody is asking you to change human nature, nor do artists not understand that that's going to happen. They're just asking people to stop doing it, and it's on an individual level if you choose to respect their request or not and right now it sounds like you wont
people are going to make comparisons in their head, nobody is saying you need to control how your brain thinks but some artists don't like their designs being compared, and when they ask "hey can you not do that?" the correct response is to say yes
Even so, this is just a request to please not do that. I think that's a reasonable ask, and you can either say "yes, I care about this artists comfort" or "no, I will continue to do it"
