This is where I land as well. I've become completely comfortable cutting something loose now. Whether it's a sport (various reasons), a TV show that starts mailing it in or a "brand" that I once had loyalty to.

The rebounds and 7/9 FTs stand out to me. The offense won't run through him in BOS, but having a center that can rebound and hit FTs is a big plus.

Yeah - I saw it when it aired - so it's been a bit - but I remember thinking the first several episodes set a standard that was hard to carry through to the end.

Regardless of how this Kawhi Leonard thing turns out. It's going to be impossible to overturn the court of public opinion. Especially, over the next few years, as fans see their team's rosters gutted due to salary cap restrictions.
Yeah, it's a novelty. And honestly, I don't really think the announcers are the culprit of stealing the the drama from games. It's the endless commercial breaks, commercial reads, needless instant replays, logo placements, etc... The "production".

There is sort of an inherent drama that each sport "builds" during a game. But the television production has changed it. When I go to a high school game (for any sport) - it's such a different feel.
Yeah, if I'm in a pinch I'll watch those edits for an NBA game, but you really lose the perspective of what is a "big play" or the sense of "momentum". But I generally don't feel I miss that in the NFL edits.
It's pretty amazing that you can get pretty much everything in the youtube 10-15 min "Game Highlight" edits
