So tonight the party got into a fight in a big tavern where there were also a bunch of potentially friendly NPCs. I don't really enjoy playing D&D against myself (NPC vs NPC) so I gave control of the statblocks over to the players who convinced the friendlies to join, and it was a lot more fun!

it’s interesting that I have these two NPCs who, before i could really get into introductions, players gendered a different way from what I’d planned (& used reference for). and NPCs being NPCs, i’ve just rolled with it.

in fruehlang, you'll never have issues with dependencies, because dependencies will be illegal. you have to do all your own work. most of the work on the language will be devoted to making sure you're not secretly trying to distribute a library
