In reality not much. In theory we could run our own servers and instance of bsky, federate it to the main servers, and then migrate ourselves to it. But everything we did would still replicate over to the main BlueSky so still make AWS money. Pointless. All traffic makes Bezos richer.

You need to check before you say things like they are facts. There are thousands of CRT monitors for sale on eBay currently. The government is not cracking down on these - they are not restricted nor banned. Also selling them is no less green than recycling them.
