Unfortunately not. Almost any website you use these days will use AWS for some or all of its storage, database, compute. Certainly the ones from the bigger players. Maybe even BlueSky. I should probably check that ...

In reality not much. In theory we could run our own servers and instance of bsky, federate it to the main servers, and then migrate ourselves to it. But everything we did would still replicate over to the main BlueSky so still make AWS money. Pointless. All traffic makes Bezos richer.
