When I was placed on the Professor Watchlist in 2021, people sent death threats about my children. I had security officers monitor my 8yo at school. Where is all the outrage for those of us who have been targeted for years? Where is the outrage for our families? My own colleagues are silent.
I am just going to keep posting that the TX governor recently pardoned a political murderer. The dude texted "I'm going to shoot protestors", then went and shot a Black Lives Matter protester. He was convicted in a jury trial. Hard to find a more blatant example of celebrating political violence.
News orgs HAVE to stop calling these porn bans. Yes, #HB4938, does also criminalize porn — also terrible — it goes far beyond that. LGBTQ+ sites, social media sites, community forums, Shakespeare, drag, a review of Mrs. Doubtfire, all punishable by jail $500K fine and twenty years in jail.

It’s the one you have. Probably even the specific unit matters as much as the brand. The ultrasonic sound output is probably something that is completely uncontrolled (but should be, for anyone with young dogs!) As the dog gets older it’ll probably get harder for him to hear it.
This kind of thing is also extremely useful for process heat, which is a significant fraction of energy usage in the world.

One reason is you don’t really need it. I’ve planned trips to everywhere I want to go assuming the ID Buzz’s 235 mile range (which is more like 200 at highway speed). The places that are tricky are like Canyon De Chelly or the Wind River Mountains. Central Ohio is fine.
That’s not precisely true. It takes more energy to get up a mountain, but as long as you have enough to make it to the high point, you get most of that (like 80% - 90%) back on the way down.

Yep. Also existing EVs have more than enough range for >95% of people. And most people don’t have any idea how long they spend stopped on their family road trips. There’s no need to charge as fast as you can fill a tank if it takes 15 minutes to get the kids back into the car.
