Having to do a little WFH this morning. I'm down in the basement and can hear my 1 1/2 year old daughter at the top of the stairs trying to open the gate. Wife brings her down to see me and she immediately climbs up into my lap and snuggles in.... I'm not getting much work done today 🥲
I was planning on going to sleep like 2 hours ago until I saw a bunch of posts. Now I keep refreshing, thinking I'll see THAT headline appear.
It's incredible how their relationship news absolutely dominates the social media landscape. I've already seen posts referencing their engagement from major sports leagues, news sites, and companies.
Rossi is the kind of guy to stay humble throughout this whole thing, but use it as motivation to prove he's worth every penny. We know the demotion to the 4th line rubbed him the wrong way and now with this contract dispute, it just feels like he's going to come out with a big FU attitude.
And then the Pohlands will act shocked that attendance numbers continue to plummet, and so they'll use it as justification to cut more payroll. Say goodbye to Pablo and Joe Ryan this off-season 😞

Pretty much the only notifications I've been getting from ESPN and The Athletic lately have been about the Twins' fire sale. Only notification I want to see now is about the Pohland's selling the team.

Sleep might be hard to come by tonight. Had a wicked storm roll through earlier, and as far as I can tell, we avoided any significant damage...but we got extremely lucky. A section of neighbors fence got ripped off, clipped my fence and the corner of my house, and hit my daughter's window.

Was at BestBuy today and as I was checking out I saw they had a whole bin of the new Magic the Gathering #FinalFantasy cards. I don't even play magic, but I love FF and was seriously debating buying some. Looking at some of the cards online and they are gorgeous! @magic.wizards.com
It is absurd that the Wild don't play their playoff game until 10 pm local time on a Tuesday night. That's the best that the NHL's schedulers could do? Sorry, but I've got a 1 year old, and there's no way I'll be able to stay up and watch. Disappointing.

Wild fans knew he was good, but I don't think anybody expected him to step up and play this well in the national tournament. So awesome to watch.
It's honestly a tragedy that we, as hockey fans, have been denied best on best tournaments for the past decade. This entire #4Nations tournament has been phenomenal.

Being the 2nd favorite parent is tough. My daughter normally loves to snuggle and play with me, but when she's really tired or feeling sick, only mommy will do. Kinda breaks your heart when she is crying/screaming and trying to get away and then instantly calms down when I hand her to my wife.

What's up with seeing a bunch of people's accounts now saying "Invalid handle"? BlueSky get too many new users too fast?
Biggest issue I've had switching over to BlueSky is trying to find people or organizations that I followed on Twitter. Some were super easy, some haven't left, but there's definitely people squatting on usernames of people who haven't jumped ship yet.
That's me with WoW. Yes, there are dungeons and raids and quests galore. But the world is so big, I love taking my time, listening to the music, and finding little pieces of lore that the devs put in.
