The lies' laughable implausibility is a feature, not a bug. They're not trying to convince discerning, skeptical, fact-based people. They're trying to give supporters a fantasy that validates their feelings and creates a sort of loyalty test, while flaunting the absurdity in everyone else's faces.

We took PTO and the 3 day intensive method and it worked like a charm. Kiddo loved it because we let them run around naked for 3 days while following them around making sure there was a training potty close by. Highly recommend this method over trying to stretch it out over longer periods.

It should go without saying but I find this whole "If the GOP had a spine, they'd stand up to Trump!" As pointlessly performative. Why would they go against the wishes of their constituents like that? They wouldn't keep their jobs. And broadly they basically want what's happening.
Refusing to honestly engage with the fact that Trump is popular among the GOP and they are broadly supportive of his agenda means that you get to write fun little snappy takes about spineless congressional GOP, but it obscures the broader reality we need to grapple with. People want this.
Antivax and anti-public health were in the ballot in 2024. They’re not springing this on the public by surprise, they campaigned on it—along with anti-science, and at the highest level anti-truth—then a plurality elected them. Some explicitly voted for it. Others didn’t care. But this was a choice.
“The recent change in the adult and children’s immunization schedule threaten the lives of the youngest Americans and pregnant people.” This should be one of the biggest scandals in America right now. And every Democrat should be loudly calling for RFK Jr’s resignation
