This is going to sound really weird, but trust me: get sparkling water that is specifically store brand. Walmart, Safeway, Fred Meyer. They are zero sugar, they have the mouthfeel of soda. But also, the store brand ones are actually very sweet and full of flavor. Usually sweetened with aspartame.

First Contact is very good, but a lot of the stuff with Zephrame Cochran feels like too much and too tonally all over. And some other segments end up feeling a bit dry by comparison. Insurrection has issues, but I like it's focus on philosophy, I love the look, and its just so much fun.

I haven’t seen that one. I grew watching westerns with my grandparents. I always hated them. Now I like a lot of them. And the genre is nostalgic. I loved the movie Hostiles. I’ve loved Taylor Sheridan’s movies tho he seems like a dick. There also an amazing Jimmy Stewart western that was 1/2
So i don’t like them generally so I’ve only seen a little of each. I just know Tim McGraw and Harrison Ford and most of the cast and writers are liberal. Sorry, wasn’t trying to be a dick or um, actually or anything. I just always see “westerns are for MAGA” stuff and I reacted emotionally. Sorry.

There are lefties and conservatives doing this who AREN'T actively encouraging violence and harassment of marginalized folks. He should not have been killed, but lying about how much harm he did helps the alt-right paint him as a martyr to foment a civil war.

I think part of the problem is that CK and Shapiro and people like them know how to clip parts that SOUND way less extreme and circulate those so that people will see only those and get a generally favorable impression of them without ever seeing the horrific stuff. Fair. Usually if I like something with super dark humor it's a horror or horror comedy because it feels not real at all. I think becuz a lot of the dark stuff in CG leans mildly in the horror/thriller-ish way it takes the edge off. Plus I'm never not aware I'm watching two of my favorite actors.

The only Eggers film I’ve seen is The VVitch. Idk why, I liked that one a lot. He kinda falls into the Ari Aster place of “I liked that one movie a whole lot and none of his other stuff has made me curious enough to go out of my way to watch it.” The only modern directors where I intentionally 1/2
